Burglary: A shed at the rear of 598 Lone Pine Road was entered, and tree trimmers and hand tools were stolen, state police said. The burglary occurred between Oct. 2 and Tuesday.
Marijuana charges: California police charged Jaheed Loblack, 20, of California, and Anthony M. Rack, 20, of Bethel Park, by summons with drug possession, distribution of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. The charges stem from an Oct. 11 traffic stop during which an officer allegedly smelled burnt marijuana and found paraphernalia items. The charges were filed Tuesday in District Judge Joshua Kanalis’ office.
Mischief charge: Savanah M. Johnson, 20, of Washington, faces a criminal mischief charge filed by state police after she allegedly damaged property at 660 ½ Broad St. owned by Crystal L. Hinto of Canton Township Oct. 10. The charge will proceed by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Thefts alleged: Brandon James Wergin, 27, of 1005 Lower Crest Ave., Charleroi, is charged by city police in four separate theft cases, court records show. He is charged with theft and receiving stolen property over accusations he stole a Glock pistol and a laptop from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Graham Avenue Dec. 14 and 16, 2016, respectively. He is charged with stealing a laptop, boots and other items with a combined value of $3,270 from another vehicle in the same area on Feb. 16. He also is charged with burglary, conspiracy, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief over allegations he broke a rear door to enter 1319 Graham Ave. and steal a shotgun, designer sunglasses, watches and a computer tablet on April 12. He was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $15,000 bond set Monday by District Judge Michael R. Mahady.
Assault alleged: Jeston L. Hall, 33, of 651 S. 14th St., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he grabbed Ra’Shanna Church by the throat and picked her up by her neck about 7:25 p.m. Oct. 13 at 408 McGeary St., court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges Tuesday by summons.
Retail theft charge: Officers responded to Tractor Supply, 460 Washington Road, about 10 a.m. Wednesday. Store management reported a woman had hidden four lawn mower blades in her pants and left without paying.
Woman charged: City police charged Johnnita R. Richardson, 30, of West Chestnut Street by summons with aggravated assault, simple assault and terroristic threats in connection with an incident Sept. 26. Police responded to Washington Hospital that day for a report of a woman who had arrived with two stab wounds. The victim’s friend told police they’d been at a Lincoln Terrace apartment when they heard loud banging on the door. The victim reportedly answered the door to find Richardson, and the two began yelling. Richardson allegedly brandished a steak knife and stabbed the victim. At some point, the knife reportedly was knocked from Richardson’s hands, but she allegedly managed to retrieve it. She allegedly told the victim’s friend, “You’re next,” before she fled. Police filed the charges through District Judge Robert Redlinger’s office.
Theft alleged: Washington police charged Earl J. Phillips, 29, of Ellis Avenue, Canton Township, by summons with theft and driving with a suspended license. Ellis allegedly took a 2017 Dodge Ram from a city car dealership on a test drive Oct. 12 and didn’t return it. He allegedly told the dealership he was taking it to Claysville but told a friend he was going somewhere in West Finley Township, and didn’t plan to return the truck. Police filed charges through District Judge Robert Redlinger’s office.
Criminal mischief: A man reported his vehicle was damaged while it was parked behind his residence in the 800 block of North Main Street. He reportedly found all four tires of the Chrysler PT Cruiser flat with punctures to their sidewalls, along with other damage to the car on Tuesday. He told police he had checked the car on Friday and it had been fine. The owner hadn’t seen anyone around the car.
Door damaged: A 10-foot garage door at West Finley Volunteer Fire Department, 980 Majorsville Road, was damaged early Tuesday, state police said.
Harassment charge: Scott Matthew Stephenson, 41, of 148 N. Porter St., Waynesburg, was charged Thursday with harassment and disorderly conduct after Greene County Regional police said he had been harassing his estranged wife through text messages since their separation in 2015.
